Geno Auriemma Supports New Program to Further Boost UConn Grad Students at the Recruiting Table

UConn Today – Geno Auriemma, head coach of the UConn Huskies women’s basketball team, is again partnering with the UConn School of Business – this time by supporting a new lecture-and-workshop series to help 2,000 graduate business students enhance their leadership skills.

The series, which began Oct. 13, focuses on value-centered leadership, learning to reset and transform, and intentional networking. Each executive lecture will be followed by workshops led by a career coach to reinforce the lessons.Continue Reading

The Financial Times released its highly regarded 2020 MBA rankings today and the UConn MBA program was among the Top 20 public universities for its academic rigor.

The UConn MBA ranked No. 16, up from No. 20 last year, in the category of public MBA programs in the U.S. It also ranked No. 5 in value for the money compared with its public peer institutions.Continue Reading

As a self-described ‘mushy-gushy’ type, Catherine Davis-Gomez wasn’t exactly counting the days until the first session of her Financial Controls course in UConn’s Executive MBA program.

“When I learned what Financial Controls was, I thought, ‘I’m gonna hate this,'” said the highly trained therapist who helps create school-based programs to address post-traumatic stress in children.
