School of Business Announces New One-Year MBA Program, Cutting the Time to Completion in Half

UConn Today – The School of Business is launching a new One-Year MBA program, a fast-track alternative that offers the same rigor, coursework, and faculty instruction as the two existing MBA paths, but can be completed in about half the time.

The 42-credit One-Year MBA program will begin this summer. The School currently serves 750 MBA students, enrolled in either a completely online MBA program or a flexible, hybrid alternative.

MBA’s Michael Bozzi Named Honorary Commander of Air National Guard Unit

UConn Today – Michael Bozzi, an adjunct faculty member in the MBA program and the Director of the MBA Office of Student Services, has been selected as the Honorary Commander for the Connecticut Air National Guard’s 103rd Maintenance Group.

He is the first civilian to receive the appointment. During his three-year tenure, he will share his leadership knowledge and expertise with the 250-member maintenance group, attend many of their social functions, and go on a training flight to learn more about their work.

The Financial Times released its highly regarded 2020 MBA rankings today and the UConn MBA program was among the Top 20 public universities for its academic rigor.

The UConn MBA ranked No. 16, up from No. 20 last year, in the category of public MBA programs in the U.S. It also ranked No. 5 in value for the money compared with its public peer institutions.Continue Reading
