Hartford Courant – On Sept. 16, the state treasurer’s office and the University of Connecticut will host (with the Connecticut Forum) “Women in the Corporate Boardroom: A Business Imperative for American Companies” at the Bushnell Center for the Performing Arts, moderated by Mika Brzezinski, co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.” The forum will explore how having more women on corporate boards improves a company’s performance, as well as how to get more women on boards.
