For fans of UConn women’s basketball player Morgan Tuck, the moment that brought tears to their eyes happened with less than two minutes remaining in the Husky’s NCAA Championship game Tuesday night.

In their new roles as department heads in management and accounting, Professors Lucy Gilson and George Plesko say they plan to build on their departments’ traditions of success while expanding partnerships within and beyond UConn.

That’s one of the ideas that Management Professor Lucy Gilson has been pondering after completing an intensive, four-day program at the U.S. Army War College in Carlisle, Penn., in early June.
