Spring has arrived in Connecticut and, with it a renewed sense of excitement, growth and accomplishment both in our classrooms and through our research commitment. I would like to share with you some of our recent milestones.
Wave 3 News– Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is under fire, accused of not doing enough to protect people’s privacy on the social media site. He faced lawmakers during a several-hour long hearing in Washington D.C. on Tuesday to discuss the social media giant’s mishandling of millions of users’ personal data.
News Times– Bank of America is planning to open this fall a center in the Royal Bank of Scotland’s building at 600 Washington Blvd., Hearst Connecticut Media has learned.
On Friday March 23, OPIM Innovate held a workshop taught by Professor Craig Calvert on Data Visualizations with Tableau.
For the first time in history, UConn Nation is putting all paws in to support the University during a 36-hour online giving event.
UConn Gives will begin on April 4 and continue through April 5, encouraging supporters to make a gift of any amount to their UConn passion project: from student scholarships, to groundbreaking research, and beloved schools, colleges, and academic programs. Continue Reading
