On Wednesday, October 25, the Operations and Information Management Department (OPIM) held its 2nd annual Networking Dinner. This dinner is held for UConn School of Business Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Data Analytics (BDA), and Business Technology students, past and present, in order to enhance their networking skills and connect with people of similar backgrounds and interests.
The Academy of Management’s Organizational Behavior Division has awarded its Mentorship Award to UConn Management Professor John Mathieu. It is the third prestigious award he has received in the last year. Continue Reading

Emergency Management – The scenarios are chilling: A busy hospital suddenly cannot use any of its electronic medical records or other computerized systems. The victim of a ransomware attack, the hospital will not regain access without paying those who locked down the records — if at all.
