Digital Health CT to Hold Inaugural Cohort in Hartford

The Trinity Tripod – Digital Health CT, an organization powered by Startupbootcamp, is scheduled to hold its inaugural cohort in Hartford on Nov. 11. Startupbootcamp is an award-winning global network of industry-focused accelerator programs, and was launched in Copenhagen in 2010. Since its foundation, Startupbootcamp has accelerated over 800 startups.

Consumers: Online Restaurant Reviews are not All Equal

UConn Today – People searching online restaurant reviews give less value to those written on mobile devices than on other platforms, according to new research in the journal Marketing Science.

In a study of 275,000 restaurant reviews, researchers from the University of Connecticut, Boston College, and Peking University found differences in reader perception based on the platform where the review was generated.


Hartford accelerator names inaugural cohort of digital health startups

Hartford Business Journal – Hartford’s newest accelerator is set for its official launch next month, having selected 10 startups Wednesday evening. Nine of the 10 that will join the three-month-long Digital Health CT program hail from across the U.S., including two based locally in Farmington, while one is from Israel.
