The Class of 2021 has what it takes to succeed in business and in life, including resilience, perseverance, grit, agility, grace, compassion, and a willingness to cooperate.

That was the message that School of Business Dean John A. Elliott shared during undergraduate Commencement exercises, on a sunny but windy Tuesday afternoon at Rentschler Field. The School honored 730 graduates.

“While this year has not been the year that any of us wanted, it is a year we can be quite proud of,” he said. “I congratulate you on your graduation. I congratulate you on your successful completion of your studies at UConn. And I particularly congratulate you on your ability to accept what life threw at you, and to make it work for you as you move into the future.”
