LIMRA – LIMRA today announces its partnership with the University of Connecticut’s School of Business, supporting the mission of the new Center for the Advancement of Business Analytics (CABA). A major goal of the partnership is facilitating collaboration with the financial services industry.

UConn Today – Vibrant tones of yellow, orange, and red move in waves across the screen. Although the display looks like psychedelic art, it’s actually providing highly technical medical information – the electrical activity of a beating heart stained with voltage-sensitive dyes to test for injury or disease.
These voltage-sensitive dyes were developed and patented by UConn Health researchers, who have now embarked on commercializing their product for industry as well as academic use.
The UConn School of Business’ Connecticut Information Technology Institute (CITI), in partnership with Stronger International, is planning a series of webinars, a networking event and courses to help business professionals stay ahead of the curve in the rapidly changing field of information presentation and data visualization. “I wanted a more solid foundation of business knowledge, including finance and accounting,” Lennert said.

They will join nearly 1,400 graduate students at UConn’s center-city business school along with the 250 or so grad students enrolled in the University of St. Joseph’s School of Pharmacy, located in the XL Center
