Biography

Trevor Tomko is an Adjunct Professor of Operations and Information Management. His teaching interests are in Business Analytics, Project Management, and Operations Management. He is also interested in corporate social responsibility, sustainability, and risk management. He is active in teaching, with a focus on experiential learning, and advising graduate students in the MSBAPM and MBA programs at the Hartford GBLC regional campus. Trevor also has more than a decade of private sector experience in Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 companies, including locally-based corporations Travelers Insurance and Stanley Black & Decker, where he’s managed projects in data analytics, advanced manufacturing & automation, and cybersecurity. He is a certified Project Management Professional as well as a Six Sigma Lean Green Belt. He was inducted into the University of Connecticut School of Business Hall of Fame as a Student Fellow in 2017.

Trevor teaches Agile Project Management & Methodologies, Project Risk & Cost Management, and Predictive Modeling.
