Essam Boraey is a Ph.D. Student in the Management Department at the University of Connecticut with a concentration in Strategic Management. He earned his M.A. in Public Policy from the University of Connecticut (UConn), a B.A. from Cairo University, and a graduate certificate in Leadership and Public Management from UConn. Essam was awarded the David B. Walker Award for Public Service from the University of Connecticut. He also was named the Human Rights Person of the Year by the National Human Rights Center, Cairo, Egypt. His research interests include entrepreneurship, international business, and International Economy. Essam is a member of Pi Pi Alpha, the international honors society for high academic achievement students in public policy and administration.
