    Get ready for an extraordinary evening in New York City, where cultural history meets UConn brilliance!

    Join us for an exclusive evening at the Museum of Arts and Design, featuring School of Business’s Marketing Department Head, Robin Coulter and Professor of Human Development and Family Sciences, Vida Samuel. This special event brings together alumni and friends for an insightful and engaging experience surrounding Robin and Vida’s research and expertise, with the backdrop of one of the world’s most well-known cultural icons, Barbie.

    The faculty speaking portion will begin at approximately 6:45 pm. The docent led tour will commence at 7:30 pm.
    Cost to attend: $45
    The evening will include:
    - After hours, exclusive access to the Musuem of Arts and Design
    - A cocktail reception featuring appetizers and an open bar (beer and wine)
    - A faculty-led discussion where Dr. Robin Coulter and Dr. Vida Samuel will share insights into their research and teaching at UConn
    - A private, guided tour of the Museum of Art and Design’s “Barbie: A Cultural Icon” exhibit with their resident Barbie expert
    - Five unique photo opportunities, including a life-size Barbie Ultra ‘Vette™ with which visitors can interact
