Biography

Krishnamurthy Vaidyanathan, assistant professor in-residence, finance, comes to UConn with five years of experience as the CEO of Quantum Phinance Consulting in Mumbai and as a former vice president of global capital markets at JP Morgan, New York and Singapore. He is the author of Credit Risk Management for Indian Banks (Sage Publications, London) and Credit Derivatives (McGrawHill Education, New York). In 2014, he completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Santa Clara University. His areas of research interest include: banking and sovereign crisis, mathematical finance and fixed income, foreign exchange and credit derivatives.
