Biography
Siying is a Ph.D. student in marketing at the University of Connecticut. Her research falls into two main streams. Firstly, she is passionate about understanding consumer goal pursuit in various contexts such as reward programs and online learning. To study this, she uses lab experiments to examine causal processes and field experiments to validate these findings in real-world settings. Secondly, she is also interested in various areas of judgment and decision-making by using interdisciplinary methods including behavioral experiments and large-scale real-world textual data analyses.
