Bio

Miao Bai is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the University of Connecticut. His research examines how healthcare and public health systems can make better decisions about capacity, access, and policy under uncertainty, resource constraints, and strategic behavior. Miao has published in leading journals across operations management, operations research, industrial engineering, and biomedical informatics. His work has been recognized with awards and finalist recognitions from major professional communities, including INFORMS, POMS, and DSI.
