Biography

Manuel Nunez is an Associate Professor of operations management at the Department of Operations and Information Management, University of Connecticut. He has published in a wide range of journals such as Mathematical Programming, SIAM Journal on Optimization, Operations Research, Annals of Operations Research, Decision Support Systems, INFORMS Journal on Computing, Information Systems Research, Information Technology and Management, Production and Operations Management, International Journal of Production Research, European Journal of Operational Research, Journal of Mathematical Economics, IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, IEEE Transactions On Engineering Management, among others. He currently teaches an undergraduate course in decision support systems for manufacturing (MEM 3231) for the Management and Engineering for Manufacturing program; a course in business statistics (OPIM 5603) and a course in adaptive business intelligence (OPIM 5504) for the MSBAPM program; and a seminar in operations management (OPIM 6202) for the OPIM doctoral program.
