Kristen Barbaris | Career Coach | Graduate Career and Professional Development Office Kristen Barbaris (she/her/hers) serves as a Career Coach in the Graduate Career and Professional Development Office at the UConn School of Business. In this role, she supports graduate students interested in technology and data. Prior to this role, Kristen gained valuable experience working as an Academic Advisor for the Accelerated Business Programs supporting undergraduate students transitioning to one of the five specialized Master’s Programs including Accounting, Business Analytics and Project Management, Financial Risk Management, Financial Technology and Human Resource Management. She originally joined the UConn School of Business in 2020 working with the Masters in Business Analytics and Project Management (BAPM) program where she advised a diverse group of graduate students. Prior to her role with the BAPM program, Kristen gained experience working in higher education with the UConn Center for Career Development and in Human Resources with the Walt Disney Company. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and gained global insight through an exchange program at Lund University. Kristen is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Energy and Environmental Management with an expected graduation in 2024.
