Kristen Barbaris (she/her/hers) serves as the Recruitment Specialist for Accelerated Business Programs for the UConn School of Business. In this role, she supports UConn undergraduate students transitioning from their undergraduate to graduate degrees in one of the five specialized Master’s Programs including Accounting, Business Analytics and Project Management, Financial Risk Management, Financial Technology and Human Resource Management. She joined the UConn School of Business in 2020 working with the Masters in Business Analytics and Project Management program as Program Assistant where she supported a diverse group of graduate students. Prior to her role as a Program Assistant, Kristen gained experience working in higher education with the UConn Center for Career Development and in Human Resources with the Walt Disney Company. She holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Connecticut and gained global insight through an exchange program at Lund University. Kristen is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Energy and Environmental Management with an expected graduation in 2024.
