Kathryn joined the Center for Real Estate & Urban Economic Studies in October, 2022. Prior to coming to UConn, she served as the Member Services Director at the Eastern Connecticut Association of REALTORS®, where she had worked since 2004. While at the Association, she held several positions, including staff liaison to 4 of their 11 committees. Early on, she worked closely with the Department of Consumer Protection and was responsible for all real estate related education offered through the Associations school. Later, communications was added to her role. In addition to education, she was responsible for creating the monthly newsletter and promotional flyers as well as maintaining the Associations website and social media pages. For her final two years at ECAR, she took over all things pertaining to Association membership. This included processing new member applications, creating/collecting annual dues renewals and maintaining the CRM database.

In her role as Program Coordinator, Kathryn organizes events that brings students together with Alumni and Industry Professionals, works closely with industry and alumni to place students in fulltime and internship positions, manages the Center for Real Estate and develops newsletters to keep students, alumni and industry friends up to date.
