About Me
Hi, I’m Justin, an adjunct professor with the OPIM department. I graduated from the University’s own MEM program, which combines project management with industrial engineering. I hold the ASQ’s Certified Six Sigma Black Belt certification and am a current member of the ASQ.
I see teaching as a way of passing on the facts and tacit lessons from one’s experiences. My mission is to use my professional experience to prepare students for their careers after college. I try to stay grounded, realistic, and honest with my students.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, kayaking, reading, building Lego, board gaming, and more. My wife and I enjoy trying new cafes and restaurants in our spare time. When we’re tired of exploring, we are usually catching up on the latest TV shows on our couch. We are active with the UConn community, so you may see us around campus, even when I’m not teaching — GO HUSKIES!
