Jaimie Misto is an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut. Professor Misto earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Master of Science in Accounting from UConn in 2013. She is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the State of New York. She started her career at KPMG in the audit practice, focusing on the banking and real estate industries. From 2019 to 2025, she worked at Blackstone, first in their Global Fund Finance group, where she built a team responsible for reporting and analytics on residential credit opportunities. Later, she served as a Principal on the portfolio management team for Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies (BREDS), where she was responsible for portfolio analytics, performance, and other strategic initiatives. In 2025, she left Blackstone and moved back to her home state of Connecticut to stay home with her children. Following a passion for teaching that started when she was a national instructor at KPMG, she became an adjunct professor at UConn in the fall of 2026.
