Annie George serves as a Career Advisor in the Graduate Career and Professional Development Office – supporting the Financial Risk Management and Human Resource Management Specialized Programs.

Annie is an experienced collaborative hands on Human Resource Leader and Career Coach who understands the challenges of successfully navigating career search and placement. She is recognized as a trusted advisor and strategic business partner supporting career planning by helping students navigate complexity in the midst of ambiguity in an ever changing search landscape. Annie guides  candidates to highlight and showcase core skills and key achievements to help tell a compelling story of work/academic experiences and contributions.

As as a senior career advisor and executive coach, Annie partners with talent at all levels and across industries supporting early careers, mid-management and executives whether entering the workforce for the first time or in transition to other opportunities.

Annie graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago, with a bachelor’s in Pre-Law and earned a master’s in Industrial Organizational Psychology at the University of New Haven, where she also received her Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management.

She is dedicated to supporting students success by helping build essential search tools, develop brand identity across professional platforms, identify target companies, engage in effective networking, prepare for challenging interviews, negotiate total compensation and develop a 90 day transition plan.
