Mark joined the UConn faculty after a 40 year career at KPMG LLP, where he retired as a senior lead tax partner in the Boston and Hartford offices. Mark served multinational clients in the consumer, industrial, and technology sectors. In addition to teaching, Mark serves on the board of directors of various non-profit organizations, including the World Affairs Council of Connecticut.

Mark earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Connecticut in 1983 and a Master of Science degree in Taxation from the University of New Haven in 1989. He is a licensed CPA in the State of Connecticut.
