Global and Sustainability Initiatives, Business

Arminda Kamphausen serves as the Director for Global & Sustainability Initiatives and directs the GE Global Learning Center in the School of Business. Hired in 2015 as the Associate Director for the school’s Center for International Business Education and Research (CIBER), she now manages the school’s international memberships in U21, UN PRME (Principles of Responsible Management Education) and the GBSN (Global Business School Network).  Arminda collaborates regularly with UConn’s Global Affairs office, Global Partnerships, Experiential Global Learning, the BCLC, and the Office of Sustainability to facilitate connections that enrich student experience and faculty research in the areas of international higher-ed exchange, inter-cultural competencies, and responsible global business leadership for positive societal and environmental impact. She initiated and leads the school’s annual Global Business Leadership in Sustainability Summit (GBLSS) and teaches BADM 1801: CQ for the Global Marketplace. She advises the Global Business Ambassadors, and the UConn Net Impact chapter. She unashamedly promotes the great work of the School of Business and is always eager to connect with new partners for collaboration in the global or sustainable business space.
