Who We Are

The Information Management Association (IMA) at the University of Connecticut is a student-run organization that provides resources for students interested in the field of Information Technology. Our meetings and events involve inviting IT representatives from various industries to speak to students about their company, job prospects in the field, recruitment, informational sessions, resume building, conduct mock interviews, and the art of networking.


Our Mission

IMA's mission is to become the primary bridge and platform for undergraduate students to connect and build relationships with working professionals. We strive to connect students with the information and contacts necessary to enhance their education and achieve their career aspirations.


How We Can Help You

Participating in the IMA is a great way to network with your peers and industry representatives, explore the IT field, and learn about the job market. IMA is targeted . IMA is welcomes students from all disciplines and education levels at our events and meetings but it is targeted at undergraduate MIS majors and/or those looking for a career in the IT field.
