Biography

Peter Gallagher is a Ph.D. student in Management at the University of Connecticut. His primary area of interest is power sharing and retention dynamics between leaders and their teams as a way to better understand the mechanisms of empowerment and is currently working on a theoretical article in this area. Gallagher is in the early stages of his dissertation which will likely focus on these dynamics as well as considering the implications to the larger system. Gallagher holds a B.A. (Business Administration – Accounting) from the University of Washington, M.S. (Taxation) from Golden Gate University, and is also a CPA (Inactive). Prior to his doctoral studies, Gallagher worked in the San Francisco Bay Area with Deloitte and Spott, Lucey & Wall CPA’s as an International Tax Consultant to Public and Private Business Ventures as well as High Net-Worth Individuals.
