Professional Licenses
Attorney Michaud is admitted to practice law in the U.S. Supreme Court, U.S. District Court for the Second Circuit, and the State of Connecticut. She is an ARELLO Certified Distance Education Instructor, and a Certified Pre-License Education Instructor in the State of Virginia.
Areas of Expertise
As an Asst. Ext. Professor in the Center for Real Estate, her primary role is to serve as a liaison to the Department of Consumer Protection. She conducts legal seminars for real estate educators, and creates pre-licensing and continuing education courses for Connecticut real estate licensees. She also teaches an undergraduate Real Estate Law course.
Biography
Attorney Michaud earned her Juris Doctorate degree from Quinnipiac University School of Law, and she is a member of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity International. Prior to joining UConn in 2013, she practiced transactional law with a focus on real estate and business organizations.
She is a member of the Accountant-Lawyer Alliance, CoreNet Global, Association of Real Estate License Law Officials, Real Estate Educators Association, and the International Conference of Shopping Centers.
