Guest Presentations
Presentations serve as a way for students to meet company executives or other influential indviduals, and gain insight into what it is like to be in a finance related field.
Stock Market Game
Members have access to a simulated stock market game hosted by Equitrader. The game helps enrich the student’s knowledge of the financial markets.
Trips
To provide greater exposure to the world of finance, the Society plans trips to finance related organizations and companies.

View presentation summaries from past speaker events, employment opportunities exclusive to Society members, and business and career related learning tools. Also, discuss a wide range of topics with other members on our discussion board.

Who can join?

The Society is open to all students at the University of Connecticut, regardless of major or degree level.

How do I become a member?

To join the Society, please fill out and submit the form below. Drop off, in an envelope, the non-refundable payment of $20 in the lock box outside the Department of Finance on the fourth floor of the School of Business (payment is only applied towards the academic year in which it was made). Amount can be paid in cash, money order or check. Please make the amount payable to the UConn Finance Society. Membership will be activated when the $20 membership fee is processed. Also, please note that members are required to dress business casual for all Society events.
