Engineering Intern
- Project leader for the establishment and implementation of a
statistical process control software package, Lyle- Kearsley Systems'
Infinity. Provided training to all levels of staff, including
management, skilled toolmakers, and machine operators, on the
utilization of the software to input and retrieve desired data from
its related Structured Query Language database.
- Participated in quality system surveillance audits of August
1997, March 1998, and August 1998 and served as the responsible party
for corrective/preventive actions. Composed and edited procedures
that pertained to engineering documentation, inspection procedures,
and analytical material testing for compliance with ISO9002 and
QS9000 standards. Assisted in the coordination of the successful
QS9000 registration effort.
- Deployed to York, PA and Bangor, ME facilities to serve as a
quality/engineering specialist.
- Project leader for the development of a new materials
laboratory. Responsible for location and layout. Coordinated
maintenance efforts to put layout in effect. Wrote CER for the
procurement of laboratory equipment. Installed laboratory equipment
and trained others in the proper use thereof.
- Developed Lotus Notes databases for internal product drawings
which included a method for the timely review and approval of
engineering change requests. Designed Lotus Notes databases for "in
