Located within the University's School of
Business, UConn CIBER is one of 30 national centers of
excellence in international business. UConn CIBER is mandated
by the U.S. Department of Education to increase U.S.
competitiveness in the world business arena. Given the
concentration of high-tech firms and industries in Connecticut
and New England, the UConn CIBER focuses primarily on Global
Technology Management. This focus signifies that the School of
Business and the CIBER work closely with the
UConn School of Engineering,
the
Division of International Affairs
and the
Department of Modern and Classical
Languages.
