Public Access to Freddie and Fannie Data for Research Purposes

Using this form, you can apply to join a group of academics requesting public access for research purposes to loan purchase data maintained by Freddie Mac (FHLMC) and Fannie Mae (FNMA). The data include many millions of housing transactions and loan histories for the United States, and information constructed by Freddie and Fannie using statistical techniques or algorithms. The data do not include information purchased by Freddie and Fannie from outside vendors. These data are maintained on computers at Freddie and Fannie and they are accessed through database management systems.
