Since 2001, the UConn Program for Sales Leadership (PSL) has been a leader in higher education in providing a professional sales academic curriculum to undergraduate students.
PSL has a three-fold mission:
- To develop future sales professionals by providing experiential learning courses in Professional Selling and Sales Management & Leadership.
- To partner with best practice sales organizations to create a forward-thinking learning environment for students that includes case studies, field assignments, role-playing, internships and full-time employment.
- To disseminate research and learning that focuses on sales ethics, best practices in professional sales and sales leadership.
In pursuit of this mission, The Program for Sales Leadership Program offers:
PSL works with a select group of partner companies, who support our mission by engaging students in the classroom and supporting experiential learning opportunities. PSL Partners participate as guest speakers, as sales experts in role plays, and at exclusive networking events. Partners also provide sales internships and full-time positions for students interested in a professional sales careers.
