Responsible for managing and creating the club’s schedule of events; recruiting speakers; organizing educational materials; networking with faculty/administration to achieve clubs' yearly goals; developing a relationship with Biz Placement/Career Center & Alumni Relations to facilitate/coordinate job networking, events, and guest speakers.

VP Communications

Take meeting notes; promote activities and send out meeting reminders; coordinate website development and maintenance; assist in cross club correspondence; assist in developing meeting activities; support other club initiatives as needed.

Works directly with the President and officers of the Finance Club to create, develop, and implement strategies that will enhance the experiential learning experience offered at UCONN Business School. Develops innovative ideas to create an academic culture that provides students with the financial tools and leadership skills needed to became future business leaders.  Networks with industry leaders and UCONN alumni to allow them to play an active role in the development of student’s careers by sharing their professional experiences and career paths.

 

Works directly with President to plan, strategize and develop Finance Club relationships within the business community, responsible for engaging possible sponsors and collaborators while developing and maintaining positive, synergistic relationships, coordinates with other officers to ensure a club that is operated in a professional manner, manages operations within the club as well as oversees outside group activity.
