University of Connecticut's Online Master of Science Program in Accounting Awards

The United States Distance Learning Association (USDLA) presented its 2007 Distance Learning Award to UConn's MSA Program in conjunction with the 20th Anniversary Conference in Kansas City, Missouri. Since 1987, USDLA has been the world's premier distance learning association. Annually, the USDLA Awards program honors outstanding individuals and organizations for excellence in the field distance learning, education and training.

The October 31, 2007 edition of the Public Accounting Report (PAR) ranked UConn's MSA program ranked 18th in its 26th Annual Survey of Accounting Professors. The annual survey asks Accounting professors, department heads and department chairs to identify those undergraduate and graduate programs that offer degrees in Accounting they feel most consistently turn out students capable of some day attaining partner status. The PAR is published semi-monthly by CCH, a Wolters Kluwer business, and is the leading independent newsletter for the Accounting profession.

U.S. News & World Report ranks the UConn MBA Program 67th nationally among the nation's "Best Graduate Programs" (2007).
For the third consecutive time, Business Week ranks UConn's MBA Program among its top 70 "Best B-Schools" (2006) - and the #1 public MBA Program in New England.

The Wall Street Journal/Harris Interactive Business School Survey for 2006 ranks the UConn MBA Program 51st in the regional schools category.
UConn's MBA Program ranks 10th in the nation for "Best Campus Facilities" in the Princeton Review's 2007 "Best 282 Business Schools."

For nine years running, UConn is rated the top public university in New England by U.S. News & World Report.

Kiplingers' Personal Finance ranks UConn in the top 35 best value public colleges, a list of higher education institutions, "where students can receive a stellar education without graduating with a mountain of debt".

Research awards to UConn faculty exceeded $190 million last year, an increase of more than $80 million since 1999.

The landmark UCONN 2000 construction program has created more than 8.1 million square feet of new and renovated space for research, teaching, living and learning. Completed projects include brand new and award-winning buildings for the School of Business, the School of Pharmacy, the School of Engineering and the departments of chemistry, biology-physics and agriculture-biotechnology

In 2005, UConn received $56 million dollars in total gifts, up from $8 million in 1995.
