Dr. Hoskin has published research in the Journal of Accounting Research; Accounting, Organizations and Society; and other journals. He served as the Director of the School of Business Administration Executive MBA program and as Associate Dean. He has also taught in the EMBA program at Duke University and the University of Connecticut. He has received several teaching awards at Duke and the University of Connecticut. He has developed a self-study course in property/casualty insurance accounting that is used by PricewaterhouseCoopers in its continuing education programs and in an insurance and banking course in the UConn MBA program. Dr. Hoskin also teaches insurance training courses for several insurance companies. He is the author of three books, including Financial Accounting: A User Perspective, a textbook for the introductory course at the MBA level and Insurance Accounting.
