New Class for Fall 2008: A Hands-On Introduction to the Management Information Systems (OPIM 1195)

This class is available to all Freshmen and Sophomores. Register soon - only 35 seats!

This class includes a discussion of a variety of topics ranging from electronic auctions to blogs to social network websites such as facebook.com and the way they transform business functions. For more information, click here

Forthcoming and Recent Events

• September 30, 2008. Career Potentials in Information Technology - SIM event. Attend this Future Potential in Technology Roundtable/Discussion to learn about the possibilities! Rome Commons Ballroom, 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. Students who attend the roundtable will have a chance to win and a Wii and other exciting prizes!
• April 9, 2008. Juan Conde, Chief Information Officer of CIGNA Healthcare will speak to the students in OPIM 203 class.
• March 31, 2008. Bill Bloom, Chief Information Officer and Executive VP of Insurance Operations at Travelers spoke to the students of OPIM 220,221 and 222
• February 27, 2008. Nancy Davis, Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Pratt and Whitney spoke to the students in OPIM 203 class.
