American Marketing Association (AMA) Sheth Foundation Doctoral Consortium
Purpose: To introduce up-and-coming scholars in marketing to leaders in the field and also to provide an opportunity for participating doctoral students to network socially with each other and with faculty. One doctoral candidate is nominated from each of the leading universities in North America as well as some from other continents.
History: The first annual AMA Doctoral Consortium was held in 1966. The recent addition of 'Sheth' to the Consortium title recognizes the generosity of Professor Jagdish Sheth and his commitment to finance part of the Consortium on an ongoing basis through the Sheth Foundation.
