The UConn MBA Program’s rolling admissions process allows applicants to apply year-round. A new student may begin the MBA program any time within a year after acceptance. There are no admissions deadlines; as soon as we receive all required information, a decision will be made on your application. Please call (203) 236-9935 if you have any questions.
Required Application Materials
Your application will not be reviewed until all of the following materials have been received.

||Official transcript(s) from your undergraduate degree granting institution as well as all other colleges or universities where you have since taken undergraduate or graduate courses. Official transcripts must be sent in a sealed envelope from the each institution where you studied. Unofficial transcripts, including copies, are not acceptable. For international applicants, official transcripts must be issued in their original language and accompanied by an English translation with a clear explanation of the institution’s program requirements and grading system.
||An application fee of $55.00 (non-refundable) must be paid by major credit card - Visa, Mastercard or Discover. Your application will not be processed until this fee has been received. There are no waivers, deferments, or refunds of application fees.
Though not preferred, a paper application can be printed and mailed to the Graduate School. The fee for a paper application is $75 (non-refundable) and must be paid with a U.S. Traveler's Check, a U.S. Postal Money Order, or a Draft on a U.S. Bank. Please make checks or money orders payable to “University of Connecticut.”
||A Residence Affidavit is required for all Connecticut residents. Print and complete the residence affidavit, and mail it to the Graduate School address indicated above.

||Two (2) letters of recommendation from current or former employers. Requests for letters of recommendation sometimes encounter unexpected delays. Therefore, be sure to follow up with reminders to your references.
||A current resume with a cover letter that responds to the question: “What distinctive contributions can you make to the MBA program in Waterbury?”
||GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) scores. All applicants to UConn’s MBA Program are required to take the GMAT and have an official score sent to the MBA Program office in Waterbury. Make sure your GMAT score reports are properly coded – the UConn Waterbury MBA Code is CV2-C0-63. It takes approximately three weeks to receive official scores from ETS. If you have taken the test more than once, only your highest score will be considered. Find information about registering and preparing for the GMAT at www.MBA.com.
