School of Business Alumni Mentors

Looking for Mentors!

The University of Connecticut School of Business is looking for a few good mentors. According to Wikipedia, mentors provide their expertise to less experienced individuals in order to help them advance their careers, enhance their education, and build their networks. Many of the world's most successful people have benefited from having an equally famous mentor:

  • Aristotle mentored Alexander the Great
  • Freddie Laker mentored Richard Branson
  • Eddy Merckx mentored Lance Armstrong

Mentoring is a great way to stay in touch with your Alma Mater and give something back to those who are following in your footsteps. Your participation in this program is an important component in our UConn School of Business Alumni Network. Your efforts are of vital importance in helping to foster the next generation of business students and ensures all UConn School of Business alums have an opportunity to stay involved beyond graduation. Placement and internships are the areas where your help is most needed and mentoring will only take a small portion of your time.

If you would like to join others by mentoring a current UConn School of Business student or fellow alumni, please sign-up and log-in to the UConn School of Business Alumni Network and fill out your mentor profile in the Career Network.
