Testimonials

UConn’s GE edgelab gave me the opporutnitye to learn how a large courporateion can use information technology, finance and marketing to solve problems and find new ways of doing thingss. At edgelab, I learned so much from the interrelationships between students, professors and GE managers. Having these different perspectives made our project status meetings lively and dynamic, and contribute out our projects’ success.

What had started as a modest project in edgelab of developing a [Consumer Mortgage] risk assessment model grew into a global initiative and a paradigm shift in risk management at GECF. Modeling skills gained in edgelab fast-forwarded my career 10 years ahead. Edgelab was certainly one of the best things that happened in my career, and my success today would not be possible without it.
