In Storrs, you are actually at the center of it all, with Boston (90 minutes away), Providence (60 minutes away), Newport (70 minutes away), and New York (150 minutes away) all close by.

Off campus, Connecticut also boasts many of the attractions that make the New England region a travel favorite: colonial history, Atlantic beaches, seaside villages, and pastoral countrysides. Whether it's walking through Mark Twain's house, exploring Mystic Seaport and Aquarium, enjoying a Broadway show at The Bushnell Theater, or venturing to the country's largest casino, Connecticut offers ample opportunities.
