Volunteer Activities

Where is your help needed most?

Since 1943, the School of Business has graduated over 26,000 students who have worked in thousands of businesses around the globe. The pride and devotion of our graduates are our most valuable assets.

Some of the most helpful ways to become actively involved in the School are to serve on a committee, become a student mentor or guest speaker for a class or program, or help sponsor a School event. Other opportunities include:

  • Inviting a class to visit your organization.
  • Providing students with internships.
  • Helping your company to recruit UConn students for full-time positions.
  • Organizing a School of Business alumni networking event in your area.
  • Serving on a departmental advisory board (Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing or Operations and Information Management).

  • To learn more about these and other unique volunteer opportunities, contact Nathan Ives, coordinator of alumni relations, at (860) 486-5741 or alumni@business.uconn.edu.
