An initiative of the Connecticut Center for Entrepreneurship & Innovation (CCEI)

The Venture Consulting Initiative provides an experiential learning opportunity for undergraduate Business Management Majors who take MGMT 4271: Venture Consulting. Student consultants are responsible for identifying a client to work with on their own initiative. They are exposed to a wide variety of problems that give them the opportunity to reality test their classroom learning.

Beyond the obvious benefit to small businesses in the state, this program has improved relations between the Business School and the entrepreneurial community, improved performance of the businesses served and is an invaluable learning experience for the students. The Management major requires all students to participate in at least one project.
