UConn MBA students put their business education to work through consulting partnerships with real world companies in their first year of studies. This innovative approach, known as the Integration Project, provides both real world experience and an opportunity to bring together the knowledge and skills students garner in their first year classes.
Past Integration Project partners include: GE Capital, Pratt & Whitney, Xerox Engineering Systems, Cigna, SS&C Technologies, Hamilton Sundstrand, The Hartford Insurance Group, and Aetna.
By taking their business skills out of the classroom and into the corporate boardroom, UConn MBA's realize the practical applications of their coursework immediately, without having to wait for a summer internship to put their knowledge to work. This unique program also mirrors the corporate world by allowing students to integrate all of their course work into one project, thereby realizing the synergistic affect classes in Finance, Marketing, Accounting, Management and Operations & Information Management provide. In fact, 20% of student’s grades in each individual class during the second semester of the full time program are dependent upon the Integration Project.
