Robert M. Kaye

Class of 1958 - 2003 Inductee

Robert M. Kaye graduated from the Peddie School, a private preparatory school in Hightstown, New Jersey. He earned his BS degree in Business from UConn in 1958. After graduating, Mr. Kaye founded Planned Residential Communities, Inc. in 1960.

The PRC Group is a diversified real estate holding company with expertise in commercial and residential real estate development and management. The company owns and manages more than 3,000 apartment units in six states and has a portfolio of office, warehouse and retail shopping centers in various states. The company also provides lease auditing and consulting services to Fortune 500 Companies. From 1987 until 2002, Mr. Kaye served as Chairman of Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company. Mr. Kaye also served as the Founder of Monmouth Cablevision. Mr. Kaye is a licensed real estate broker and has attained his Certified Property Manager designation. He is a former Director of the Institute of Real Estate Management in New Jersey. Currently, Mr. Kaye serves on the Board of Trustees of the College of New Jersey, The Peddie School, and the Cleveland Museum of Art. Formerly, Mr. Kaye served on the Board of the Community Bank of New Jersey as well as the New Jersey Governors’ School.

Mr. Kaye lives in Rumson, New Jersey.
