Biography:

James is a Stamford native having gone through all of his education through the Stamford public school system. During his schooling he became Stamford's first city intern helping area schools resolve their daily technology problems. Once James graduated from highschool he attended the University of Connecticut Stamford campus. This opportunity allowed James to pursue and lead the program TechCycle, which gathered donated machines, refurbished and distributed them to area fourth graders. While shuffling this responsibilty he found an opening to work as a technician under the Director of Technology for the Connecticut Information Technology Institute (CITI) and School of Business. James found himself acquiring technical skills and acumen preparing him for the outside world. Once graduated from the University of Connecticut, James took an offer to work for Citigroup which was short lived due to the ever changing market conditions. He quickly bounced back and worked as a systems analyst for UBS Investment bank helping them to mitigate risk accross different product areas. Soon James felt the need to move on, and an opening was available back at his alma mater UConn. Instead of working under the Director of Technology, he is now Director of Technology for the UConn Stamford School of Business and Connecticut Information Technology Institute.
