Biography:
Dr. Mary Caravella is an Assistant Professor in Residence at the University of Connecticut School of Business. She teaches in the undergraduate and M.B.A. programs in the areas of marketing strategy and customer behavior. Dr. Caravella is interested in understanding how marketers can appropriately identify and effectively interact with prospective customers to build mutually constructive relationships. She has published the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, and received an award from the Institute for the Study of Business Markets for her dissertation research. Prior to her academic career, Dr. Caravella worked for nearly a decade in sales, marketing and organizational change leadership positions at GE.
