Selection of Program Participants
Candidates are encouraged to apply as early as possible. The selection of participants will be made by the Executive MBA Admissions Committee when the applicant's file is complete. Consideration is based primarily on the work record of the applicant. Applicants should have an undergraduate degree and at least five years of work experience. Applicants must assure the Committee of the motivation, commitment, and family and organizational support necessary to attend classes and complete all assigned class work.
Study groups are an integral and required part of the Program. The Admissions Committee uses the proficiency assessment of the applicant to bring together participants from diverse functional backgrounds. This affords EMBA students the opportunity to work with a study group of peers for the 20 months of the Program. Being part of a study group means you will not be learning on your own but as part of a team that will provide support and bring different perspectives to your education. You will find that the friendships from this study group last well beyond the length of the program.
