Business students are encouraged to take advantage of the wide range of experiences and opportunities that can contribute to their personal growth and increase their chances for employment.
Field Study Internships: gain practical work experience while earning college credit. Faculty and employers cooperate to take theory learned in the classroom, apply it and expand on it in real business situations.
Study Abroad: gain experience and earn college credit while studying business and economics in one of several programs in Europe, Asia or Latin America. Some programs require foreign language proficiency.
Cooperative Education: enrich and apply your education by opting for a semester of employment during the junior and/or senior year.
Student organizations: enrich and expand your academic experience by joining organizations associated with specific majors or the entire business field. These organizations allow students to interact with the business community, gain leadership and communication skills and work directly with the faculty and deans on issues of interest.
