Alumnus Keith Fox '80 speaks out about tax reform and looking toward job creation in the future

Keith Fox '80, spoke at the Silicon Valley Town Hall for the American Leadership Forum on September 23, 2009. Fox addressed the audience on the topic of the California tax system, the creation of jobs in small businesses and the effect it has on the poor. He suggests a tax reform for California centered around trust, accountability and simplicity.

Fox spent 15 years at Apple Computer where he most recently ran the consumer division. He was recruited then to CISCO System where he ran worldwide corporate marketing from the mid-1990s through 2000. Fox started a software and consulting company and the Fox Family Foundation, a private foundation that provides grants to non-profits serving children in Santa Clara County and Los Angeles County. He also angel invests to help entrepreneurs start small businesses and volunteers at a variety of organizations, including the UConn Foundation.
