UConn School of Business Briefs - February 2008Storrs, CT (2/5/2008) - In this issue: School of Business on the move; Accolades for the UConn MSA Program; Marketing doctoral candidate wins prestigious award; and OPIM professor invited to be Plenary Speaker.On the move! Read more > The National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) recently released its annual report in which UConn's MSA program ranked 22nd nationally for CPA exam pass rates among all candidates with advanced degrees passing all four parts of the exam. Marketing doctoral candidate Denish Shah recently won the 2007 Institute for the Study of Business Markets (ISBM) Business Marketing Doctoral Support Award. In addition to his work being named the Outstanding Submission, Denish will receive an award of $10,000. OPIM Professor Dr. Moustapha Diaby has been invited to be a Plenary Speaker at the upcoming American Confernece on Applied Mathmatics to be held at the Harvard Graduate School of Education March 24 - 26, 2008.
